Harder Diff Bushings? (fwd)
Hi folks,
I've been meaning to re-post this info, but due to popular demand, here
it is now:

What I did was to replace my transmission mounts with differential mounts.
You know how your gearshift lurches around? This cuts down on tha a little.
So basically, my car ('85 ur-q) has diff mounts holding the diff, and diff
mounts holding the tranny. Diff mounts are substantially stiffer than tranny
mounts. Both mounts are the same size.
What these cars really need are much stiffer mounts at both locations.
Supposedly there are "Sport Quattro" engine and transmission mounts available
somewhere here on earth. If anybody knows anything about these, feel free to
chime in.
