Nobody seemed to know anything about my A/C control panel problems, so I
think I will just swap the auto controls from my 90 into my COupe Q, and see
if that fixes the problems I'm having with my A/C, yes we are using our a/c
in florida already!!!
NOW, can anyone help me out and tell me what is the secret of removing
the auto HVAC controls in the 90, before I try and break something........I
already have the glove box out and stopped there.

Dude, I personally don't recall you posting that you had a problem with the
a/c head, but why have you immediately decided to pull it out?
The 1990 Coupe Q a/c head has a diagnostic procedure that you should follow
initially to first identify the problem. This is illustrated and described in
the Bentley manual. It IS worth the $ 85-110 for this manual - if you are
going to do some of your own work! (Which you *have* indicated that you are
doing) As I may have referred to in some of my posts, the a/c compressor
clutch has gone bad on my car once at about 45Kmi...I haven't had any other
problems, except for the temperature remaining on hot...(you can e-mail me
direct for the procedure, but it was a long shot which did work....all I
needed was silicone lube - and the wonderful help of our listers!)
I personally wouldn't go any further with what's inside there after having
removed the dash...but I'm not the greatest or most experienced mechanic
either...
Good luck! (No sarcasm intended!!)
