5K/100/200 Thule accessories for sale (Seattle), and sigs
Hello, gang, I've several points for you today. First, I have a Thule
custom roof rack system for sale which will fit the above model Audis. I
have the custom-fit doorframe clamps, towers, bars, two 3-pair ski
attachments, one road bike, and one mtn./road bike attachment. All in
very good shape, less than 3 months old. REI retail > $400. Asking
$200/obo for all. Second, I am sorry to burden your boxes with the
message I am attaching, but I feel it to be very appropriate to now be
dealt with in this manner (yes, private mediation has been attempted).
The message is pretty self-explanatory, but if anyone would like me to
send them a lengthy file of extensively-documented Buchanan quotes re:
women, ethnic minorities, democracy, etc., please let me know. Finally,
I hope we're all enjoying this infrequent Leap Day! Later.

Subject: Sigs
Hello, Dan! First, thanks for the great job you're doing with this
Quattro listserv. I have been largely a lurker, though have been
well-received with a few posts I have made. I want to bring something I
consider quite serious to your attention.
For all his grousing over P. Wales sig. line, Glen Powell should be the
LAST one to comment given his political-oriented sigs (e.g., "Go, Pat,
Go," and his most recent about extremism). He is the only one using this
tactic (not-so-subliminal political advertising), which I warrant is a
good measure more threatening than P. Wales' +/- commercial advertising.
I mean, REALLY, does he think he's going to sway us to begin thinking
about supporting a candidate who: (1) has said he would make women who
conceive as a result of rape carry the infant to term; (2) would
eliminate foreign trade, the leading sector for domestic job growth;
(3) would have U.S. Supreme Court decisions able to be reversed by simple
majority vote; and, among others, (4) who has written admiringly about
Francisco Franco and other dictators? I think you get my message. Would
you please compell him to stop his political-oriented sigs, like EVERY
other listmember. I, for one, am greatly offended, and I presume others
are as well but haven't taken the time to compose a similar
response--yet. Now this would *really* generate a discussion, eh? :-)
Take care, and thanks again.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey A. Henderson
