that is true.  92 S4's had boost gauges and trip computers.  the
reason for the deletion, according to my dealer is the unreliable
miles to empty gauge, which caused the entire trip computer to be
deleted.

it also appears that there is no trip computer for the american A4
while european ones seem to have it.
