Radio install in 200

Glad to hear that the whole thing is working out for you. I have
never bought anything from Crutchfield, but from what I understand, it is a
good company to work with. They really want to help you out. I have heard
this from many people...they give you connectors, line level to 'audi-level'
for the rear-amped speakers...they give you good directions, etc..
Contrast this to when I had a cd player installed by a local stereo
shop ( that, for whatever reason, seems to do good business ). They made my
interior look kinda shitty, left little parts on the inside ( like, a couple
resistors, a gang of clipped off ties, a bunch of clipped off wires - pretty
much anything that would take over 30 seconds to clean up ).. The installer
guy couldn't figure out how to make the stereo work with the rear-amped
speakers, so he just left them disconected. I asked him to put the speaker
wires back there anyway, because I COULD figure it out, but the %$#hole
wouldn't do it - 'Oh. I'll wire them in when you buy rear speakers from us'
Yeah right, buy what from you *#%$#s. Generally it sucked, and I had to do a
lot of work on it afterward to make it work the way I wanted it to. If you
want anything done right, pay for it, or do it yourself.
So I am glad that things are working out well for you.
