Coupe rear speakers

     Finally removed the rear side trim panel this weekend.  What I found 
     was some sort of ic piggybacked on the speaker.  Does anyone know what 
     this is?  Possibly an amp or a crossover or both?  It must be some 
     sort of amp because the wires leading into it are fairly high guage(22 
     or 24) and there are wires going out to the rear HI-FREQ speakers.  I 
     would like to repalce the rear side speakers but don't know what type 
     of crossover I need for the HI-FREQ speakers in the rear deck.
