Re[2]: tailgaters
I didn't think they went that fast either. I am considering aiming my
headlight washers(fairly useless) over the top so I can hose-em good!
This would work nice because first you turn on your parking lights to
warn them, then you hit the washer to hose-em down.
Subaru 4x4 adventures: I had a guy hit me on purpose once while
driving my 79 subaru 4x4 wagon which had a bullet hole from being shot
at(another story for another day). I then recorded his license plate.
The state trooper said his powers were fairly limited because I had
no witnesses and no noticable damage. However, he ran a check on the
plate and found that it was marked for having no insurance. As far as
I know, the trooper tracked him down and his license was suspended.
Probably didn't stop him anyway!

Once coming back from Ocean City Md there was a nice stretch of 2 lane
highway. But some jerk in a Hummer...tinted windows chrome
everywhere...decided that going 75 on a 65 wasn't fast enough. I tried
tapping on the brakes but he just drove closer to me...all I could see
was his license plate out the rear window...quite frightening to be
tailgated by a Hummer. So I sped up til there was a car in the next lane...
an elderly man in a Caddy...and I drove right next to him at the same
speed...blocking both lanes. I did this for quite awhile. The jerk got
mad and drove off the road! I didn't know Hummers could go that fast.
We should be able to report jerks like the Hummer guy. I think Virginia
has a number for cellular phone users to report people like that on the
highways. #77 or something like that.
I must admit I like that spraying window washer fluid seems to be pretty
good...more decent than flipping the guy off through the sunroof.
Happy motoring
