- '89 cars were sold as '90 cars.

- as of november 1990, there were 600 unsold V8s in the US and audi
offered $8000 rebates on them.  i bought mine in late nov '90 with
almost $10K off MSRP... :)    i think that there may be leftover
90 models still being sold in 1991...
