Greetings from the no longer night blind!

Would those of you hwho have any type of Aux. light mounted on the top of the bumper care to 
share your experiences in the following matter?

I just got my new set of Hella Aux Low Beams and mounted them on the top of my '85 GT's bumper, 
just inboard of the headlight.  (So the rings are still visible, of course!)

My problem is that even though I have properly aimed (a little low even), I keep getting flashed 
by other's on the road who think I am running my brights.  Apparently, they just look at the 
light pattern and think that since there are four white lights on the same horizontal plane, that 
they must be my brights.  Even though they are shorter, narrower, and a totally different color 
(bright blue/white)!

Any others with similar troubles?  (I just had to vent, I hate having spent $115 so that I can 
get flashed for my entire 50 mile commute!)
