Yes, that is normal. It is the security system's way of telling you you've
armed it.

I have yet to change the Oxygen sensors (2 I believe) on our V8, but have
changed the sensors on other Audis. It's a snap, but a special tool may be
required if access is limited as you can't use a regular socket because of
the wire and you may not be able to fit a crescent or box wrench in there.
I'd have to check.
There is a slight hesitation on acceleration in our V8. I've head that this
may be the Ox sensors; I guess I've soon find out.
