I have gone through 3 sets of Expedia S-01 and I must say they are one of
the best street tires available (my own alternatives would be the SP8000
and the P-Zero). FYI, the new Turbo has Expedia S-02 as OEM. The S-02 is
a new design that's suppose to succeed the S-01/E-01, but has nothing in
common with S-01 save the Bridgestone name.
The S-01 is grippy, but the tread life is one of the shortest I've ever
experienced -- not mentioning S-01 is also among the highest-priced. And
yes, I do drive'em hard. Typically, one set would last me for about a
year. This year, I got smart and took the S-01 off just before the winter
(yeah, you guess it -- I drove last two sets through the whole year long
-- which is not wise considering that it snows at where I live). The
Bridgestone RE930 (also new, with the S-02 and the RE900, for Bridgestone)
I chose for the winter months are decent for the money paid -- a lot
better than the various OEM tires I've experienced through.
