The following is from the '85 audi brochure:

Engine:
2.2liter 5 cylinder, 110hp @5500rpm, 122 ft-lbs @2500rpm, bore 81mm, 
stroke 86.4mm, comp. ratio 8.5:1

Gear ratios (manual):
1st:  2.85:1, 2nd:  1.52:1, 3rd: 1.06:1, 4th: 0.78:1, 5th: 0.64:1, 
reverse: 3.17:1, final drive: 4.90:1

Performance:
top speed: 115mph, 0-50: 6.8sec, 0-60: 9.3 sec.

There's LOTS of other stuff in there as well, but I don't want to wase 
too much bandwidth.
