How does one advance the ign timing -- PROM/CPU mods?

What's 'limited'? Are the mods just 'limited' is the sense that the factory
has already incorporated some of the mods done to the pre-89.5 CPUs into the
post-89.5 CPUs negating the need to incorporate these additional mods?

With the stock cam, exhaust and rev limit, is the K24 unit really the
limiting flow factor? With the cam advance and/or IA CPU mods?
