Re: Tires of different types

Hairy green toads from Mars made Martin Slotterback say:

I used to use the CH51's on my Golf, so I tried a set on my 100Q.
Not impressed. The H-rated contis were too soft in the sidewall to
manage a nearly 4000 pound beast. They also didn't have too much
tread life on such a heavy car. So, I gave them a thumbs down,
despite how I loved them on my Golf.

I switched to the Comp T/A VR4, which I've been really happy with.
I drive my car "spirited", but not really "agressive". OK, maybe
that should be "agressive" but not "crazy". They stand up quite well.

But, I'm thinking about the CV90 for this summer instead. I did
like the way Conti matches the German car setups.
