"Upgrade" to 80Q from 4000Q?

Hey y'all,

Question :  What is the main difference between the 4000q and the 80q, 
besides the body?  Also, is the 80 any "better" than the 4000?  

Tip of the day:  Ever have the leather peel off your shift knob?  Easy 
remedy, rip that leather off to reveal the wood underneath.  The gear 
pattern just prys off.  The wood is already smooth, so use a fine grain 
sand paper to sand off any residual glue.  Then, use a simple non toxic 
wood stain, such as the Tripp brand, to stain the wood to your liking.  
Let dry, then finish sand any clumps.  Glue the gear shift back in with 
your favorite wood glue or whatever.  The gap left from the previous 
leather can be filled with a putty, and then stained.  Finished sand the 
hole assembly and finally varnish it with your fave finish.  That's it.
Beats spending $50 on a new one!
