fuel cut off at 4900rpm
I am into the third week ownership of my 1986 4kcsq and on my second
major Audi demon. The first was "cured" by replacing the fuel pump relay.
Previously the car had been stalling occasionally, and as time wore on, it
stalled more frequently and soon it wouldn't even start. This would happen
at all times, all conditions and all speeds--so there really wasn't any pattern.
Now that this was cured, I drove it about 400 miles this weekend and
discovered that while the engine was running considerably smoother and not
hesitating, the fuel was cutting off at 4900-5000 rpms.
Your help is appreciated.
