What to look for when getting a car checked out

I've come across a nice '90 100 that I'm planning to buy to replace the '84 
4000S left in Massachusetts.  I'm taking the car to a mechanic (Specialty 
Motorwerkes in Dayton, Ohio) tomorrow to be inspected.  Besides the usual, 
are there any potential problem areas that I should ask the mechanic to 
focus on?

Specifics of the car: it's a '90 100, w/ auto, 73,000 mi., body in excellent 
condition, interior in good condition.
