Re:2 wheel riders
I have been riding all sorts of bikes for around 20 years (a mere pittance,
I'm sure, to our more senior members). Currently I own the Honda 1983
VF750S Sabre I bought new. I know about getting off from personal experience
(stupid mistake, 70mph laydown, no major injuries) and from those of others
(friend killed). I find myself riding less these days, too, but haven't
given up just yet. They had a pristine red K75s at the dealer, and maybe
it's time to trade the Sabre...and a friend *might* just sell me his mint
RE5...
I have always ridden dirt bikes as well. I picked up my first *new*
dirtbike (XR400) in December. Fab! I find that I can satisfy my need for
speed by riding for a few hours in the woods here nearly the same as a good
autocross. More seat time, more aerobic exercise, too. BTW, I have
autocrossed for 8 years, too.
I only came upon the Audi Quattro scene relatively recently (Dec 93), but
once shown the light, I will not waiver...I intend to _always_ have a
Quattro of some sort. I have met many fantastic people, there's a tremendous
community of like minded folk. Here's to you all!
