Repairable door handles

Went playin' in the bonyard yesterday, came home with a new door handle for the
TQ.  Was a pain finding the correct handle, some of the cars that had handles
had ones that mechanically worked, but the plastic housings were cracked badly,
or had paint all over 'em, OR, had dandy handles, but the mechanicals were
shot.  Finally found the one I needed, so after I fixed my door dent & replaced
the handle, I messed with the old one.  Ya know those things come apart?  The
mechanical part, the part that usually breaks, easily comes out from the
plastic handle.  Remove that tiny phillips screw, then insert a flat-head on
either side of hte mechanism.  Mechanism pops right out.  Had I know this, I'd
have had a heck of a lot easier time at the boneyard.  Hope this helps
