RE: 2 problems on 4CSQ



Problem 1) check the thermostat. Sounds like it's not opening. You can take
it out (when the engine is cool) and heat it in a pot of water on the stove.
With a thermometer that registers up to boiling you can tell when it opens,
or without the thermometer if it opens at all.

Problem 2) might be the front wheel bearing, or the bearing at the top of
the shock strut. Can you make it "clack" with the car up on jack stands and
manually wiggle (careful not to topple it off the stands) the wheel?
