removing cats

        I dont claim to know much about fluid velocities or back pressure
and that kind of stuff but I do know this, The 2 cars that I gutted the cat
on had the most ANNOYING RINGING sound eminating from the cat. It bugged the
SH@#$@T out of me. 1981 vw scirocco I went to a straight pipe, 84 5ks got a
used cat from my AUDI tech.   

        So if you can stand the sound go for it
