Re: wiperblade inserts
Rob asks:
>Does any one have a good suggestion for a brand of wiper blade inserts?<
This comes up so often, there ought to be an entry in the archives.
The OEM or Bosch inserts are very good, but they only last 6 months or
so here in the northeast and they break easily on icy days. I like
the Tridon blades available from many discount stores and Imparts (see
parts_vendors in the archives). They last over a year and are very
good quality. Tridon has two types, Aerofoil and Global. I used the
Globals (cheaper) on my wifes car and they lasted over a year and a
half before they started streaking.
I buy the Bosch blades and inserts for my Audi from any foreign auto
parts store to keep that OEM look.
Disclaimer, I have no interest in Imparts, Tridon, Bosch, or discount
store. Only interested in good parts cheap.
