80 Quattro: many problems (see list)

I have a 1990 80 Quattro.  I need help and/or suggestions with the
following problems:

1. Torsen system will not engage
2. Dashboard/Gauge lights out
3. Valve noise (lifters)
4. "Stick" appears to be rotating (i.e. the shift knob is tightened all the
way, yet the knob is rotating.  It seems as if something in the interior of
the shifter is turning.)
5. Rear door lock "pulls" will not screw back down
6. Trunk lock will sometimes not engage with central locking
7. need to know how to remove central console (contains torsen engage
button, shifter, rear passenger ashtray, etc.)
8. need to find mats that will actually stay in place
