Can someone recommend a helmet for motorsport?

Hi guys and girls,

Can someone in this group recommend a fullface helmet for use in motorsport?
I learned from some members of this group that motorcycle helmets are usually
not compliant to motorsport standard. I prefer a helmet w/air vent in the front
,I guess exhaust vent in back or top is not very critical for this purpose but 
probably help to cool the head down a bit when I start spinning out :)

Anyway can I get a helmet for around $200-300? I was looking at a motorcycle
magazine I really like the looks of some of the AGV helmet, do they have
models that are snell 95 standard as well as for motorsport application?
