Re: Instrument Panel Bulbs: Need Help
You also need a 22mm socket to remove the nut that hold steering to the
column. I think the correct torque for the nut is 44ft/lb. You want to also
disconnect the speedo cable at the transmission end to give the speedo cable
some slack otherwise you might break the plastic bayonet connector that
connects to the back of the speedometer. On the 5000s there are about 5-6
electrical connections.
