Mark, as it happens I've been with State Farm since 1966. they stuck
with me through a lot, esp. those first few years. I've checked
other prices but never found any with really advantgeous prices which
was not severly restricted....or not available outside TX. And I
don't plan to be here forever....so I've stayed with them. I can
their service to me, their insured, has always been great.
Short story: 1974 - was hit by idiot with no brakes - downtown
Denver, noon Saturday. he was taking his car downtown to get the
BRAKES fixed!! Of course, he had no insurance, so St. Farm paid
minus my deductible. Four years later, I got a check for my
deductible from them. Evidently they went after him, got their
money, then mine. Can't ask for more.
