Re: Dunlop SP8000 needed (Alignment)

I am no expect on TQC alignment but after owning an 85' 5000s and now a
92' 100, I know according to Bentley Manual the caster is not adjusterable
on both my Audi but if your TQC is like either one of my Audis with subframe
on the front on which the suspension rides on then you might be able to make
about 1/2 to 3/4 deg of adjusterment to your caster. There are some slack
between the subframe bolts and the subframe holes so if you can find a
good alignemnt shop they can loosen the subframe and move the wheel fore or
aft for some minor adjustment on the caster. One word of caution you want
to check and see if the type of subframe bolt you have since the later ones
are the torque yielding type i.e. stretched once torqued thus they are not
re-useable then you want to order a complete set before you have them loosen
the subframe. Make sure they have the correct torque setting for the bolts.

I hope this help,
