Me agree too, on many of the points. Face it, autobox is one of the worst 
acoustic environment available to install stereos. Personally, I have 
trouble getting my living room's acoutics right. I think the totoal sum 
of C-bills I have put into car stereos is $30 for the past 10 years -- the 
Sony CD-to-cassette adaptor that allow you to play any playback thingies 
that got headphone jacks.

These days, I just dub everything I want to a cassette with a DSP in 
between that will decrease the dynamic S/N so I can hear the music in 
that autonoise environment. I bet I can hear a lot more with that DSP'd 
dub than many people who got whatever CD-whatchamacallit in their trunks.

I got one of those nifty Panasonic head units that allow reception of 
Motorola-type AM stereo. Unless I'm cruising at low speed, the difference 
between AM and FM may become hard to tell if you just have the radio on 
for background music.
