OEM Tarz

There was some discussion recently of the merits (and lack thereof) of
OEM tires. My 1990 200 came with Goodyear Eagle GAs, I believe -
but we find the traction (especially in the wet) of the BFG Comp T/A's
(H-series) is superior, with similar handling and a smoother ride.

OEM selections can be made for a number of reasons; some are
performance related, some are not. I think that many drivers will
find there are plenty of options which suit them as well or better
than the OEM selections.

Of course, there are some very specialized apps (like the high end
Vettes and exotics) which offer few if any options...
