well i don't think it was my bleeding procedure. after genuflecting and
then faithfully offering master and slave clutch cylinders <10K miles
ago, the slave cyl is toast. after i pressure bled the system before
leaving for work i noticed a brake fluid puddle on the garage floor.
thought it was spillage from the g*d* leaky connection at the reservoir
during bleeding. got in the car to go home and the pedal hit the floor.
their was a suspiciously similar puddle of fluid under the tranny.
5 gallons of gas and a road flare would fix it! either that or i could
offer up YET ANOTHER slave cylinder. meantime i get to drag my bleeder
to the parking lot at work and "field bleed" it so's i can get it home
for the next procedure (cyl replacement). then i get to bleed it all
over again. i'm working on my second gallon of brake fluid by now.
should be pretty well flush out by the time i'm done.
