RE: BMW M5's (was: Re: Sticker prices?)



Only my wife stood between me and a 91 I'm-probably-speeding-red M5 last
fall. The car was close to perfect although the interior was a little
worn. I have *never* driven anything with a better engine. It's smooth
and it absolutely screams when it's being wound out. The power is also
pretty unbelievable and for a car that size it handles extremely well,
and for a car with such handling it rides very well (better than my
stock 94 Acura Legend GS).

2 minuses: RWD with 310bhp and maintenance (that oh-so-beautiful
engine...).

They wanted $34,000 for it, but were indicating that $32K was possible.
