RE: OOOOwww-D race season opens with WIN!!!
Steve, and Glen,
Surely we can come up with some way to legally lock the rear
diff. Within the rules for fastener replacement, consumables
replacement, etc, can't we find a legal mod that would inadvertantly
cause the rear diff to lock? What about getting a AoA to write a TSB
stating that owners can switch vacuum lines to suit their preference? :-)
Are broken parts required to be replaced?
EXACTLY! Swap in a bad or seized center diff-lock actuator, perhaps the cable could fall off, or perhaps a piece of crud could git 'lodged' in one of the lines to the center diff-lock actuator rendering it inoperative......
All's fair in love, war an racin!
:)
