Subject: Re: how do I save a car from being totaled?

Todd,

Make a BIG stink. Calculate the accurate book value of your car. Total up
the cost of all mods you have made to your car. Assemble a big wad of
receipts, and then go visit the agent, claims rep. etc. in person. Make
bigger stinks. Trust me.. the squeaky wheel sometimes gets greased very
well. Plus, if the agent gets bugged repeatedly, it is his/her time, staff
time and business expenses on the line. He or she will be more likely to
call the claims office and say "hey, get this annoying sh**bag out of my life"
