Forced Depreciation




	The best leverage you have here is, most likely, not the forced 
depreciation concept.  While your idea is right on point [in fact, 
disclose the frame damage to some dealership under the pretense of 
trading the car in for a new one and I'd bet the $5-6k will be wishful 
thinking], the argument is that such damage is not realized since you are 
not selling / trading the car.  And, the depreciation is going to occur 
with normal use anyway.  This is the insurance co. position.

	Your leverage here is prolly not in the forced depreciation 
idea.  Let's see.  Wreck caused $10k to rear of car, you were in the car, 
BTW Jim HOPE you are feeling better.
