Proposal: Speedline Wheels

Hi all,
There has been talk the past couple days about refinishing Speedline wheels.

I have been wondering about that myself, then I got to thinking... All the Speedline wheels I've
seen on Audi Coupes and 90s have been corroded, but only on the finished aluminum rim. The
painted section is fine.

This should not be. The rest of the wheel is fine, so it must have been cared for properly. This is a
defect in the material and/or workmanship and/or design that has resulted in these wheels not
being fit to use in the environmental conditions of this country.

If everyone who has a problem with the outside rims of their Speedline wheels contacts me with
information and name/ address, I will take this matter up with Audi of America.

We are a large group of established owners, enthusiasts and customers. We take care of our cars
and we purchase Audi cars because of the build quality and durability of same. Wheels are
products that should look good for many years, with proper care. These wheels do not look good
after 5-6 years with proper care. That is not acceptable.

As soon as I see the responses, I will get in touch with all that have contacted me. The more
people who respond with problems, the more pull I am going to have with Audi.

Let's get this problem corrected!
