Coupe GT suspension upgrade

Tomorrow I am plannning on diving into my 1986 coupe GT and
replacing the springs and shocks. I will be installing some Abt Bilstein
struts and some H&R springs along with some new upper strut
bushings. When  I did the suspension on my 83 ur-q, I used
Bilstein struts and eliminated the rubber bump stops because
the bilsteins have these designed into the shock. My question is,
has anyone installed bilsteins onto a GT or 4000 and did you
install or remove the rubber bump stops? Whats easier for
disconnecting the sway bar, upper nut or lower nut?

Also any words of advice or encouragement gladly accepted.
