Perhaps I can shed some light on the situation as I purchased my first Audi
(a loaded pearl white A4Q, BTW) on April 30 for $300 UNDER dealer invoice.
Audi runs four month sales cycle promotions with their dealers, the first
this year running from January 1 - April 30. For every car they sell above
their quota, they receive an extra $1000 back from Audi. I found a local
dealership who was looking to up in the dealership standings and was
therefore willing to pass this $1000 onto the consumer. I found found
another who was willing to match the price on the car I wanted. I was told
by both dealerships if I waited until May 1, I would be paying $1500- $2000
more.
I'm very psyched about my purchase. I learned to drive on my dad's 1980
5000S and subsequently his 1985 5000S. We looked at both the A6Q and A4Q;
while the A6 is definitely more luxurious, the A4 is better suited to
spirited driving.
Does anyone know if Audi has a rear spoiler for the A4?
