Mel,

I also have an A4Q.  Radio sound is fine.  CD and tape sound is better, as
expected.  Radio RECEPTION RANGE is poor, I lose stations at half the
distance from the station than I used to in my 86 4kCSQ with a Sony unit
(which was reincarnated into Phil Slaughter's Coupe).  

The weak link I suspect is the antenna.  But, the original unit in my 4k
had crappy radio range too.
