brake rotors

Is there something screwey about Audi brake rotors?

I had my dealer do a full brake job including rotors on my '89 100q. 
(BTW, their price was competitive with local brake shops, taking into 
account a 10% discount they give me for over-100,000 mile cars!)

In a few months I noticed steering wheel vibration on braking.  Took 
it back to them and they replaced the front rotors under guarantee.  
Also said I need lower control arm bushings so I had them do that at 
the same time.

Now, I'm getting the same vibration again.  I haven't gone back yet. 
Should I request some other brand of rotors this time?  Or check into 
some other problem?
