I am interested in a decent club for the appreciation of Audi automobiles.
Period. I have owned and enjoyed Audis since 1985, but have never joined the
Quattro Club. I knew about the existence of the club since the early days,
but never saw anything of local benefit to me. Fer chrissakes, do I have
to drive to Minnesota to enjoy a $2-300 day at the track? Not when I live
in Seattle!!

We recently upgraded (major upgrade!!_ from a 4kq to an S6. We were thinking
about joining QCUSA and take part in the !!_SCHEDULED_!! track event in
Portland. When we find out that there is a riff between the national and
regional clubs, cancelling the event, I WANNA KNOW WHY!!! As I said before,
I asked for (and received) an explanation from QCUSA. I can't share the
reply, but IMFO it was defensive, accusative and did not satisfy my desire
for the truth. In other words, I wasn't privvy to actual events but I'm
not buying all of what has been told to me.

What are my options???

  - sell/give away my Audi??? (not bloody likely)
  - join QCUSA tomorrow (no perceived benefit w/ status quo)
  - form new organization (if well thought through, we can likely do it)
  - change QCUSA (real possibility !!_IF_!! they come clean w/ info)

All good ideas - many of which are already done via this list...

agreed. I !!_WANT_!! to do something about it, but !!_WON'T_!! work
within an organization I cannot trust.

QCUSA, start earning some trust - it doesn't come for free...
