QClub: Audi of America view?

At one time, membership in QCUSA was gratis for two years, courtesy of Audi
of America.  That's how I joined.  For reasons never explained, Audi
withdrew that support a few years back and QCUSA began charging all for
membership fees, even if the initial two years hadn't expired (as was the
case for me).  

If anyone from Audi of America is following this thread, it would be
interesting to hear their view on the current debate.  I would think AoA has
a vested interest in how this came to be, especially if AoA is providing any
other kind of support to QCUSA.
