The Unfair Advantage
Has anyone ever seen the ESPN home video, Secrets of Speed, The Unfair
Advantage, Racing's All Wheel Drive Revolution? It's great, it's all about Audis
and the development of AWD and racing.
Part one, the URQ's (I guess, I still really don't know what an URQ is) in the
crazy races over in Europe where all the people are right along the road
watching the cars going by at 100 mph.
Part two, Pike's Peak. Audi wins it three years in a row with new track records
every time. Al Unser wins 1986.
Part three. Al Unser takes a modified 5000 CS Quattro (looks just like a black
V8) to Talladagha super speedway and goes over 200 MPH.
Part four. Trans Am series in 1987? Audi ends up getting outlawed after the 1st
year because they do so good.
Part five. IMSA in 1989. They kick ass and take both constructor's and driving
championships.
This tape is great! It's about 30 minutes long, I got it from a friend in SC
that bought it a year or so ago at a gas station that was on a border in NC, SC
or GA. It was about three or four bucks.
Anyone else seen it?
