S8, Left-Foot Braking, And Tire Question

Hola gents (and ladies):

All of the talk about the A8 (which I will hopefully drive Wed. night
with Frank, Paul, et al.) has gotten me excited. Check this out though:

>From the May 1996 Issue of (UK) mag Performance Car:

(Picture Included) "Drive Quitely, Carry a Big Stick"
"It was an obvious thing to do, and we're gald Audi has done the obvious
- produce a smokin' version of the A8 luxury saloon. Called the S8, the
thunder-saloon is powered by a 340bhp derivative of the standard car's
4.2 litre V8; it also uses the Quattro's drivetrain.

Styling differences from the regular A8's are minimal, but the S8's 18in
alloys are certain to become badges of honour for the fortunate few who
can afford the 65k (UK Pounds) price tag. Brits have to wait until early
'97 for right-hookers to appear."

Will it be a Turbo? Will it come to the States? WIll I win the Lottery?

Also in Performance Car:

Section on the benefits of "left-foot" braking from a Scandanavian rally
car guru. Better stopping distance, etc., but be careful, it is not easy.

Section on Audi's ice-driving school in Germany. Very cool thing (for
big buck$).

Question:

What are the biggest tires (low-profile Z rated) and wheels I can put on
my '90 80Q?
What does the "60" in (for example) 235/60 ZR 15 mean?
What about the first number? I know it is MM across the tread, but how
can 235's and 245's both go on 16 inchers if they are both the same width
across?

Thanks,
Todd
