How are the registration fees determined for Driver Safety Seminars?
Registration fees at Driver Seminars are determined by track rental,
insurance and administration fees. Track rental varies across the country
ranging from $500-$4500 per day. Insurance is required at every track and
fess are over $1000 for most QC events. Our insurance costs may be 6-7 times
higher than that of other national car clubs because we conduct less events
per year. QCUSA offfers a quality event by limiting participation at each
Safety Seminar, sometimes resulting in marginally higher registration fees
than that of other clubs. By limiting participation we are able to offer
more track and instructional time to each participant. (Recently saw a
posting for another club's event...$250. this price is higher than most QC
events.) If profits are made they are used in a variety of ways--to help
subsidize events that don't make a profit, fund administrative and membership
development costs, offset newspaper costs.
How does Audi of America support QCUSA today? Audi of America fully supports
QCUSA promotional activities, but is not officially affiliated with the
organization. they have provided funding for special membership promotions,
advertisements, and offer technical support and information. "Quattro", the
"Audi logotype" and the "four rings" of Audi are used with permission of Audi
of America, Inc., and Audi AG. We will report on our recent meeting last
week with Audi of america in the next issue of the Quarterly.
Because of the numerous upcoming safety seminars and newsletter deadline I
will not be able to monitor the digest. Until such time as these deadlines
are eased please send all queries to Qclubusa@aol.com Thank you.
