100Q cs
I am looking at a '93 100Q CS, 5sp. I noticed a lock in the consol near the
hand brake for the diff. Does this mean it can be driven in fwd as well as Q?
Can one, is it advisable to change it while driving? At what speed?
Anything else I should know?
Is the "Torsen" system the same as for the A4Q?
Obviously it will be slower than an A4Q. I read the turning G's on the 100
is something like .91 vs .78 (roughly) for the A4. Am I correct to interpret
that this is for Q in each? Is it also fair to assume that the 100Q will
"road hold" about 15% worse than the A4Q?
There is rust, approx 1" long x 1/8" wide on the rear wheel well. No
apparent accident. I gather one sands this to bare metal & a little wider
than the rust, applies etching primer & then paint. Is this likely to be a
problem again?
TIA
