Backup lite

Hmmmm.....  6 years of working on audis, no back up switches replaced....  ck
the wiring in the trunk first.... PROCEDURE (car off): pull the bulb out of
the socket, put car in reverse, turn on parking lights, take the bulb out put
positive on lead to hot parking, negative on lead to hot backup (circuit?)
now out of reverse same procedure, (circuit?) if yes you have a bad grounded
line to the bulb, ck the wiring in the trunk.....  ck the ground wire as
well, just do car on test of back up lite socket....
