The MS S-class is pretty good. I have driven my uncle's '96 S500 coupe
and it's quite surprising of what big boat can do. I didn't do any
Emergency Roadhandling or similar technique due to the co-occupant in the
car so I couldn't say how well it handles.

It is a great car. But I think it's straddled with things that I don't
see the point to -- the ESP, the trickery motorized windows (if you
didn't have patient to wait and got the S-class few years earlier, you
also got motorized doors!), and general ugliness of the exterior looks
(the coupe). The S-class is image-builder, something that tells others of
your financial status and success -- not something you race at your
favourite tamrac. To me, it does have share of "advanced technology" --
but they're more in gadgetry than in drivetrain.

If I get to retirement age, may be I'll buy one. But right now, nooooo.

For Audi dealerships, I'll be worring about THE dealerships. Yes, some
are good, and some are not -- I'm afraid I live next to horrible example
of one. I'll have headache just to talk with the sales team over here,
and would not even think of distressing myself to think how the car will be
serviced. If MB and BMW can pick generally better dealerships, why can't
VAG do the same for AUdi in the U.S.? Selling things that (Audi would
hope) would compete with MB/BMW at Joe's Motorcenter misses one big point
-- the would-be customers expects a lot more better attitude and service
than Joe's Motorcenter can provide.
