RD Enterprise at (800) 683-2890 off the vendor list had by far the lowest
prices. I worked with Jason there. Since your V8 has had the brake
conversion like ours has, the fronts are the same as the 5k, 100s, and 200s,
Boge part number 32-402-F. The rears are Boge part number 32-115-F and are
unique to the V8. These are Boge Turbo Gas parts; I don't have the Pro Gas
part numbers.

The total I paid for 8 struts/shocks for my '84 wagon and our '90 V8 was
$515 -- $500 for the struts/shocks and $15 shipping. The V8 and 5k front
strut inserts were $60 each. The V8 rear shocks were $80 each. The 5k rear
shocks were $50 each. These prices were close to that of KYB, so this was a
no-brainer.

The front strut replacement is a snap, if you have the strut tool. Be sure
to park your car on level ground with the wheels pointed perfectly straight
ahead. Also follow the Bentley procedure to the letter. The blocks of wood
in the strut tower are necessary! I decided to skip this tip and it turned
a 10-15 minute job (one side) into a 40 minute job wrestling with aligning
the strut cap in the strut tower! I did the other side using the wood, and
it took less than 10 minutes! I should know better too; this is the third
or fourth time I've done this. The $70 (I think?) tool paid for itself the
first time I used it!

Good luck. Defintely mention the list and my name... I expect to buy from
RD for a long time!
