S4 prices

I am looking at a 93 S4 with 42,000 miles.  They are asking $28,995.  It is in
very good condition with an extra set of wheels and all the options.  Is this a
reasonable price for this year and mileage?  Also, should I buy the dealer's
extended warranty.  It will probably cost about $1500 for a three year, 50,000
mile warranty.  I am concerned about encountering some major repair (e.g. turbo
or quattro system) on a car with this mileage.  Can anyone tell me much about
the repair records on the S4.  Are they reliable or prone to expensive repairs.
Any help and advice would be appreciated.
