There is one problem here, the boost display will also be faked out with this
addition. You can get at the signal where it goes the processor only, and not
mess up the signal to the display (which goes through an op amp first).   I
guess you could say... cut a trace and add surface mount components... but,
nahh, nobody would do thaattt. Ohhh, someone does... sorry Ned.
